On March 1, 2024, current members will be refunded the balance of their memberships and then have the option to choose the membership that works best for them. Please call the studio at 443-249-3338 if you have any questions.

Membership Plans

 

Join our growing community of jewelry artists! Our membership program is designed to give aspiring metalsmiths a studio to work in without the expensive overhead and worry about torch safety at home. From the moment you walk through the door you will connect with other makers who share your love of fabrication.

Memberships are a privilege based on the skills you have and the rules you agree to follow. All members must have taken our Beginner 101 + 102 classes or the equivalent. Your membership gives you access to our Open Studio sessions, as long as you are able to work safely and independently.

Your membership helps to support our growing programs and events and supports studio maintenance and costs associated with tools, equipment, gas, and other soldering consumables. Thank You!

Cancellation Policy

Space is limited to 10 bench seats and therefore we cannot issue a refund once a bench seat is booked. We understand that life happens. In the event that you have to cancel your attendance at one of our workshops, classes or events, we will hold your workshop fee for six months, to be applied to another workshop, class or event of your choice, provided you have given us 7 days notice. If you do not show or cancel less then 7 days before the workshop, class or event and do not reach out to us, you will forfeit your payment.

In-Studio conduct

We are a controversy-free studio and do not discriminate.  We will not tolerate any political or religious discussions and will not allow any conversations that make people feel uncomfortable for their life choices and/or beliefs. This includes discussions/inquiries about Covid-19 vaccinations. We reserve the right to excuse any student or instructor who violates our policy.

studio & Kit fees

When registering via credit card or PayPal processing, there will be a 2.9% convenience fee added to your order if you are paying with a credit card. If you choose to pay by check or debit the fee will be waived. 

Most of our classes will also have an additional kit fee to be paid to the instructor before class. There will be a 6% MD state tax added to all kit fees. If you would like to bring your own materials to use you must first get pre-approval from the instructor. 

No outside tools may be brought into the studio unless pre-approved by Melissa. toolboxes for each student here at the studio.
