COVID-19 PROTOCOL:

  • We are committed to the health and safety of our students and staff. Face masks are now optional in our studio at this time. If you are showing any signs of illness please call us and let us know. We will be happy to discuss your options.

CANCELLATION POLICY:

  •  Students are not considered registered for a class/workshop until CJS receives full payment of tuition. Space is limited to 10 bench seats and therefore NO REFUNDS  will be given for any workshop, payment or deposit, once a bench seat is booked. We understand that life happens. In the event that you have to cancel your attendance at one of our workshops or classes, we will hold your workshop fee for six months, to be applied to another workshop or class of your choice. If you do not show for a workshop, class or event and do not reach out to us, you will forfeit your payment.

How to Get Here:From Annapolis:Take exit 38A for Thompson Creek Rd. At the traffic circle continue straight. Turn right onto Marion Quimby Dr. Our studio entrance is located on Marion Quimby Drive and is directly in front of the tennis courts. There is ample parking on the street and in the lots surrounding the business park. We are located on the second floor and are handicap accessible. If you turn left onto Butterworth Court it will take you behind the building. 

 

From 50 West:Take exit 37 for MD-8 S toward Romancoke (las exit before the Bay Bridge). Keep left at the fork, follow signs for MD-8 S/Romancoke. Turn left onto Rte. 835A/Thompson Creek Rd. At traffic circle, turn right onto Marion Quimby Dr. Follow road around and stay left on Marion Quimby. We are located on the second floor and are handicap accessible. If you turn left onto Butterworth Court it will take you behind the building.

Cancellation Policy

Space is limited to 10 bench seats and therefore we cannot issue a refund once a bench seat is booked. We understand that life happens. In the event that you have to cancel your attendance at one of our workshops, classes or events, we will hold your workshop fee for six months, to be applied to another workshop, class or event of your choice, provided you have given us 7 days notice. If you do not show or cancel less then 7 days before the workshop, class or event and do not reach out to us, you will forfeit your payment.

In-Studio conduct

We are a controversy-free studio and do not discriminate.  We will not tolerate any political or religious discussions and will not allow any conversations that make people feel uncomfortable for their life choices and/or beliefs. This includes discussions/inquiries about Covid-19 vaccinations. We reserve the right to excuse any student or instructor who violates our policy.

studio & Kit fees

When registering via credit card or PayPal processing, there will be a 2.9% convenience fee added to your order if you are paying with a credit card. If you choose to pay by check or debit the fee will be waived. 

Most of our classes will also have an additional kit fee to be paid to the instructor before class. There will be a 6% MD state tax added to all kit fees. If you would like to bring your own materials to use you must first get pre-approval from the instructor. 

No outside tools may be brought into the studio unless pre-approved by Melissa. toolboxes for each student here at the studio.
